Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Sear the Meatballs
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, searing for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- 4
Add Marinara Sauce
After searing all the meatballs, pour zesty marinara sauce over them in the skillet. Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
- 5
Serve
Sprinkle with additional grated Italian cheeses and fresh herbs before serving.
