Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crostini

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon lardons until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

  3. 3

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Crostini

Spread a generous amount of the garlic Alfredo sauce over each crostini. Top with crispy bacon lardons and finely chopped green onions.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the garlic Alfredo crostini warm as an appetizer or snack.
