Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the day-old bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Mix the Custard
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all the bread is soaked. Add in the white chocolate chips and golden raisins, gently folding them into the mixture.
- 4
Add Rum Butter
Stir in the creamy rum butter until evenly distributed throughout the bread mixture.
- 5
Bake the Pudding
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- 6
Serve with Sauce
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Drizzle with caramel sauce and white chocolate syrup before serving.
