BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the baby back ribs with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another sheet of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Prepare the BBQ Sauce

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, remove the foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce. Return to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Make the Coleslaw

While the ribs are cooking, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash them with butter, milk, and additional salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the ribs are done, serve them with the homemade slaw and mashed potatoes on the side.
