Burger Patty

Bacon Jalapeño Hash

Fried Egg

Method

Preparing the Bacon Jalapeño Hash

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.

  2. 2

    Sauté Vegetables

Add diced potatoes, jalapeños, and onion to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the potatoes are tender and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Crumble the cooked bacon and mix it in.

Cooking the Burger and Egg

  1. 3

    Form the Patty

Season the Angus ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into an 8oz patty.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

In the same skillet or a grill, cook the patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on the patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 5

    Fry the Egg

In another pan, melt butter over medium heat and fry the egg to your liking (sunny side up or over easy).

Preparing the Chipotle Mayo

  1. 6

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, and lime juice. Mix well and set aside.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Build Your Burger

On a plate, layer the bacon jalapeño hash, place the cooked Angus patty with melted cheddar on top, add the fried egg, and drizzle with chipotle mayo.
