Method

Prepare Foie Gras Mousse

1

Make the Mousse

In a blender, combine the foie gras, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.

Cook Angus Patty

2

Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the Angus beef patty with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.

Fry the Egg

3

Fry the Egg

In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the egg into the skillet and fry until the white is set but the yolk is still runny, about 2-3 minutes.

Assemble the Burger

4

Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the burger bun, spread a generous layer of foie gras mousse. Place the cooked Angus patty on top, followed by the goat cheese, pickled Vidalia onion, and the fried egg. Top with lettuce and tomato if desired, then finish with the other half of the bun.
