Caprese Skewers

Method

Caprese Skewers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves under cold running water. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Drain mozzarella balls if they are in liquid.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Skewers

Take a skewer and thread a cherry tomato, followed by a basil leaf, and then a mozzarella ball. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used. Each skewer should have one of each item.

  3. 3

    Season and Drizzle

Arrange the assembled skewers on a serving platter. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Stuffed Mini Peppers

  1. 4

    Prepare the Peppers

Wash the mini sweet bell peppers and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.

  2. 5

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, finely chopped chives, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  3. 6

    Stuff the Peppers

Using a small spoon or a piping bag, fill each half of the mini sweet bell peppers with the cream cheese mixture. Ensure to fill them generously.

  4. 7

    Serve

Arrange the stuffed peppers on a serving platter. You can garnish with additional chives if desired.
