Preparation
- 1
Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling an old-fashioned glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Crown Royal Canadian Whisky, 0.5 oz of maple syrup, and 2 dashes of black walnut bitters.
- 3
Stir the Mixture
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir the mixture gently for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.
- 4
Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled old-fashioned glass and add 3 fresh ice cubes.
- 5
Strain the Drink
Strain the chilled mixture from the mixing glass into the prepared old-fashioned glass over the ice.
- 6
Add Garnish
Garnish the drink with 1 Luxardo cherry placed on top or on a skewer for added flair.
