For the Blue Cheese Crema

Method

Preparing the Buffalo Chicken

  1. 1

    Cook the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  2. 2

    Shred the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then, shred the chicken using two forks or your hands.

  3. 3

    Toss with Hot Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the hot sauce. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.

Making the Blue Cheese Crema

  1. 4

    Blend the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, blue cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

  2. 5

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste the crema and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper as desired.

Assembling the Sliders

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Slice the slider buns in half and lay them out on a serving platter.

  2. 7

    Add the Chicken

Spoon a generous portion of the buffalo chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each slider bun.

  3. 8

    Top with Crema

Drizzle or spread the blue cheese crema over the buffalo chicken on each slider.

  4. 9

    Finish with the Bun Top

Place the top half of the slider buns on each assembled slider. Serve immediately.
