Prepare the Dry Rub
In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt until well combined.

Prepare the Ribs
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil over the ribs to help the dry rub adhere.

Apply the Dry Rub
Generously apply the dry rub all over the ribs, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to let the flavors penetrate.

Cook the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.

Finish and Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Cut into individual servings and serve warm. Enjoy your famous dry ribs!
