Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixed Berries

Rinse the fresh mixed berries under cold water, then gently pat them dry with a paper towel. If using strawberries, hull and slice them into thinner pieces.

  2. 2

    Juice the Oranges

If using fresh oranges, cut them in half and squeeze the juice into a measuring cup until you have one cup of fresh orange juice.

Mixing the Mimosa

  1. 3

    Combine the Juices

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh orange juice and the prepared mixed berries. Gently stir to combine.

  2. 4

    Add the Sparkling Wine

Slowly pour the chilled sparkling wine or champagne into the pitcher with the orange juice and berries, allowing it to mix gently without losing too much carbonation.

Serving the Mimosa

  1. 5

    Prepare the Glasses

Take champagne flutes or desired glassware and add a few additional berries to the bottom of each glass.

  2. 6

    Pour and Garnish

Carefully pour the berry mimosa mixture into each glass, filling them about 3/4 full. Garnish each glass with a few mint leaves for added flavor and presentation.
