Mimosa Ingredients
Method
Mimosa Preparation
Chill the Champagne
Place the bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.
Prepare the Orange Juice
Squeeze fresh oranges to make 2 cups of juice. Strain the juice to remove any pulp or seeds, if desired.
Mix the Mimosa
In a champagne flute or a glass, pour 1 part fresh orange juice and 2 parts chilled Champagne or sparkling wine. For a standard ratio, use about 1/3 cup of orange juice and 2/3 cup of Champagne.
Add Sugar (Optional)
If you prefer a sweeter Mimosa, add 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar to the orange juice before mixing, and stir gently until dissolved.
Garnish and Serve
Garnish each glass with a fresh orange slice on the rim. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Mimosas.
