Method

Steak Preparation

1

Season the Steak

Sprinkle the sirloin steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2

Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

3

Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Lemon Pepper Fries

4

Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the russet potatoes into fries.

5

Season and Bake

Toss the potato fries with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.

Roasted Tomato & Salsa Verde

6

Roast the Tomatoes

Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil and salt, then spread on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until soft.

7

Make Salsa Verde

In a blender, combine fresh basil, garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until smooth. Serve alongside the roasted tomatoes.

Optional Additions

8

Prepare Garlic Butter Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt butter and add sliced mushrooms. Sauté until golden brown.

9

Make Red Wine Demi-Glace

In a saucepan, combine red wine and beef stock. Simmer until reduced by half and thickened, then serve over the steak.
