Calpico Base

Method

Calpico Base

1

Measure and dilute

Place 120 ml Calpico concentrate into a large glass or pitcher. Add 240 ml cold water and stir thoroughly until smooth and homogeneous.

2

Add fizz (optional)

If you prefer a fizzy Calpico, gently stir in 120 ml cold sparkling water just before serving to preserve carbonation.

3

Fill a serving glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes.

4

Pour the diluted Calpico over the ice, leaving room for any optional additions or garnishes.

Optional Variations & Garnish

5

Citrus brighten

For a brighter flavor, stir 1 tsp fresh lemon juice into the diluted Calpico. Taste and add up to 1 tsp simple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.

6

Fruit-flavored Calpico

To make a fruit variation, add 2 tbsp fruit purée or syrup (strawberry, mango, or peach work well) to the diluted Calpico. Stir thoroughly until incorporated. If using purée, you can lightly muddle it with the mint leaves first for extra aroma.

7

Mint garnish

Lightly clap 3–4 mint leaves between your palms to release aroma and place atop the drink as garnish.

8

Place a lemon or lime wedge on the rim if desired and serve immediately.
