Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Baking Dish
Grease a baking dish with a little butter or cooking spray to prevent the fish from sticking.
Prepare the Haddock
Rinse the haddock fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Dredge each haddock fillet in the bread crumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Place the coated fillets in the prepared baking dish.
Sauce Preparation
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add Wine and Lemon Juice
Once the butter is melted, add the white wine and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
Baking
Bake the Haddock
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque.
Serving
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve the baked haddock warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
