Method
Cocktail Base
- 1
Prepare and shake
Add gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon juice, fresh lime juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice cubes (about 6 cubes).
- 2
Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the shaker is well-chilled (exterior becomes frosty).
- 3
Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass (or a large champagne flute) to remove ice shards and any pulp.
Top & Garnish
- 4
Carefully top the shaken cocktail with 2 oz chilled Prosecco. Pour gently over the back of a bar spoon if you want a gentle layer and delicate effervescence.
- 5
- 6
Serve immediately while the Prosecco is lively.
