Place a rocks glass in the freezer for about 5 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Whistle Pig 10-Year Rye, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes and stir the mixture gently for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled.

Remove the rocks glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the chilled rocks glass.
