Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Pour in 28 ounces of crushed tomatoes. Stir in 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Simmer Sauce
Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Cook uncovered for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add Fresh Basil
Stir in 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh basil and remove from heat. Set aside.
Pizza Assembly

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

Prepare Pizza Dough
On a floured surface, roll out 1 pound of pizza dough to your desired thickness, forming a round shape.

Spread Marinara Sauce
Spread a generous amount of the prepared house marinara sauce over the rolled-out pizza dough.

Add Cheese and Tomatoes
Evenly distribute 8 ounces of sliced fresh mozzarella cheese and top with slices of 2 medium fresh tomatoes.

Season and Drizzle
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Bake the Pizza
Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the hot pizza stone) and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Add Fresh Basil
Once done, remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves. Allow to cool for a minute before slicing.
