Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it is hot enough for melting the cheese.

Prepare the Focaccia
Take 2 slices of focaccia and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Layer the Ingredients
Spread 1 tablespoon of black garlic aioli on each slice of focaccia. Layer 2 slices of calabrese salami on top of the aioli on each slice.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella on top of the salami on each slice of focaccia.

Bake the Sandwich
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Arugula
Once the sandwiches are out of the oven, add 1 cup of arugula on top of the melted cheese on each slice.

Finish with Aioli
Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of black garlic aioli over the arugula on each slice.

Serve
Cut the focaccia melts in half and serve immediately while hot.
