Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil together.

Once the yeast is activated, add it along with the olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Shape the Breadsticks
After the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a floured surface. Roll it into a rectangle and cut into strips of desired width.

Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
