Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and set aside. Squeeze fresh lemon juice and measure out all ingredients.

Mix the Cocktail
In a shaker, combine the mezcal, coca liquor, lemon juice, and demerara sugar. Add cucumber slices and a pinch of chili pepper.

Shake Well
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with an additional cucumber slice and a sprinkle of chili pepper.
