Dry Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- 1
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, salt, and the aromatic spice blend. Whisk together until evenly mixed.
- 2
Add Wet Ingredients
Make a well in the center of the dry mixture, and add 1 1/2 cups of warm water and 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Mix with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
- 3
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface (using gluten-free flour) and knead gently for about 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky.
- 4
Shape and Rise
Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes, until it has puffed up.
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 6
Bake the Bread
Once the dough has risen, bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- 7
Cool and Serve
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
