Method
Blondie Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Blondie Batter
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it turns brown and releases a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar and granulated sugar with the browned butter until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- 2
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the toffee chips.
- 3
Bake the Blondies
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Sundae Assembly
- 4
Assemble the Sundae
In a serving bowl, place a warm blondie square at the bottom. Top with 4 scoops of toffee chip ice cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce to taste. Sprinkle shaved chocolate and praline over the top for garnish.
