Cookie Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate large bowl, beat together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.

Add Peanut Butter and Egg
Mix in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.

Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a bowl, beat together peanut butter, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
