Burger Patties

Sriracha Aioli

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Turkey Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Turkey Mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the turkey mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, roughly 1 inch thick. Use your thumb to make a small indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet or grill over medium heat, add the olive oil and allow it to heat up.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Add the patties to the skillet or grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side, until browned, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of sharp cheddar on each patty and cover to let the cheese melt.

Make the Sriracha Aioli

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice until well blended. Adjust sriracha amount to taste.

Assemble the Burgers

  1. 7

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the brioche buns in the same skillet or on a grill until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Layer the Ingredients

Spread a generous amount of sriracha aioli on the bottom bun, place the lettuce and tomato slice, then add the turkey patty with melted cheese. Top with the other half of the bun.
