Method

Preparing Brussels Sprouts

  1. 1

Trim and Halve the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Halve each sprout lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Sauté Brussels Sprouts

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the halved Brussels sprouts, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for 8-10 minutes until they are golden brown and tender, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic and Togarashi

Minced garlic cloves and togarashi seasoning into the skillet during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Stir well to combine.

Making Sriracha Aioli

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined.

Making Sesame-Soy Dressing

  1. 5

    Mix Dressing Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame seeds until well combined.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Arrange the sautéed Brussels sprouts on a serving platter. Drizzle with sesame-soy dressing and serve with sriracha aioli on the side.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Chop the cilantro and sprinkle over the Brussels sprouts for garnish before serving.
