Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sucuk

Slice the sucuk into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Grill the Sucuk

Preheat your charcoal grill. Once hot, place the sliced sucuk on the grill and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side until nicely charred and cooked through.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Bread

While the sucuk is grilling, slice the bread horizontally and brush the inside with olive oil. Optionally, sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Grill the Bread

Place the bread cut-side down on the grill for about 2-3 minutes until toasted and crispy.

  5. 5

    Assemble the SUCUK EKMEK

On the bottom half of the toasted bread, layer the grilled sucuk, minced garlic, sliced tomato, and green bell pepper. Top with the other half of the bread.

  6. 6

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately while hot.
