Garlic Butter Preparation

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Stir occasionally until completely melted.

Prepare Garlic
While the butter is melting, finely mince 4 cloves of garlic and chop 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley.

Marinara Sauce Preparation

Saute Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 0.25 teaspoon of black pepper.

Simmer Sauce
Stir the mixture well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baguette
Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise. Place the halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Bake Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

Serve
Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Serve warm with the marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
