Pour an appropriate amount of batter (usually about 1/2 to 3/4 cup, depending on your waffle iron) into the preheated waffle iron. Cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp, typically 5-7 minutes.
Meat Preparation (Optional)

In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon slices for about 5-7 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

In the same skillet, cook sausage links for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
