In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Cook the Spaghetti
Add 8 cups of spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing Seafood

Sauté Shrimp and Scallops
In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 1 pound of shrimp and 1 pound of scallops. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until seafood is opaque and cooked through.

Incorporate Heavy Cream
Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir well, allowing it to cook for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Stir in Cheese and Season
Add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combining the Dish

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta in the creamy seafood sauce.
