Prepare Shrimp

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the Old Bay seasoning, smashed garlic cloves, and halved lemon.

Cook Shrimp
Add the large shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

Drain and Cool
Once cooked, drain the shrimp and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.
Prepare Cocktail Sauce

Mix Sauce Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Season the Sauce
Add salt, black pepper, and hot sauce to taste. Stir until well combined.
Serve

Plate Shrimp
Arrange the cooled shrimp on a serving platter.

Serve with Sauce
Serve the shrimp with the kicked-up cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
