Flatbread Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.

Make Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare Shrimp
In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and sauté for about 3-5 minutes, until they turn pink. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sauté Garlic and Tomato
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute, then add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Combine Toppings
Mix the cooked shrimp into the garlic and tomato mixture. Add chili flakes and fresh basil, and stir to combine.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Roll Out Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

Add Toppings
Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the shrimp and tomato mixture evenly over the surface, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
