Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Seafood
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, mussels, and calamari. Rinse under cold water and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the tagliatelle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Seafood
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced Calabrian chili and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4
Add the Seafoods
Add the prepared shrimp, mussels, and calamari to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are pink and the mussels have opened.
- 5
Deglaze and Simmer
Pour in the white wine and fish stock, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Allow it to simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- 6
Combine with Pasta
Add the drained tagliatelle to the skillet, tossing gently with the seafood mixture. If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- 7
Season and Serve
Stir in the chopped basil, salt, and black pepper. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired.
