Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, Alfredo sauce, and sliced grilled chicken. Toss until the pasta and chicken are evenly coated with the sauce.
