Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glass. Dip the rim into a small plate of salt to create a salted rim. Set the glass aside.

  2. 2

    Muddle Blackberries

In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh blackberries and gently muddle them using a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their juices.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Add the Juarez Blanco Tequila, Ginger Syrup, Fresh Lime Juice, and Agave Syrup into the shaker with the muddled blackberries.

  4. 4

    Shake the Mixture

Fill the shaker with ice, covering the liquid. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well mixed and chilled.

  5. 5

    Strain the Cocktail

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass to remove the blackberry seeds and pulp.

  6. 6

    Add Mathilde Cassis

Slowly pour the Mathilde Cassis over the top of the strained cocktail to create a layered effect.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish your Blackberry Ginger Margarita with a fresh lime wedge and serve immediately. Enjoy!
