Preparing the Tea

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want your tea.

If you prefer sweetened tea, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until dissolved. You can also add lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for additional flavor.
