Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Start by cutting the chicken breast into strips about 1 inch wide. Make sure they are of uniform size for even cooking.
- 2
- 3
Coat the Chicken
Take each chicken strip and dredge it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. You can test if the oil is ready by dropping a small piece of bread in; if it sizzles, the oil is hot enough.
- 5
Fry the Chicken Tenders
Carefully place the coated chicken strips into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- 6
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
