Method

Prepare the Pulled Pork

  1. 1

    Cook the Pork

In a slow cooker, place the pork shoulder and season it with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pour apple cider vinegar over the pork. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

  2. 2

    Shred the Pork

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix in the BBQ sauce. Let it heat on low for an additional 30 minutes.

Prepare the Fries

  1. 3

    Cook the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package. Spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil. Bake for the recommended time until they are golden and crispy.

Assemble the Dish

  1. 4

    Layer and Serve

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and top them with the BBQ pulled pork. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top. Place back in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and finish with sour cream, chopped green onions, and sliced jalapeños as desired. Serve immediately.
