Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Coat the Salmon

Place the Atlantic salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that the fillets are evenly coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 4

    Bake the Salmon

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet. If using, place lemon slices and capers on top of the fillets for added flavor. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Serve

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the salmon warm, garnished with additional fresh dill and lemon wedges if desired.
