Method
Cocktail
- 1
Measure and combine
Add 2 oz Herradura Silver Tequila, 1 oz pomegranate liqueur, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz fresh orange juice, and 0.5 oz agave nectar (or simple syrup) into a cocktail shaker.
- 2
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with about 1 cup of ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–18 seconds, until the outside of the shaker becomes very cold and you hear the large ice shift — this chills and dilutes the drink to proper strength.
- 3
Strain
Double-strain (using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer if available) into the prepared glass over fresh ice, or for a neat presentation, strain into a chilled coupe without ice.
Garnish & Glass Prep

Prepare rim (optional)
Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass (or margarita glass). Spread 1/4 cup coarse salt or Tajín on a small plate and dip the wet rim into it to coat evenly. If you prefer no rim, skip this step.
