Winemaking Process
- 1
Harvesting the Grapes
Harvest the Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards in Santa Barbara County when they reach optimal ripeness.
- 2
Crushing and Pressing
Crush the harvested grapes and press them to extract the juice, separating it from the skins and seeds.
- 3
Fermentation
Add yeast to the grape juice and allow it to ferment in a controlled environment for about 14 days.
- 4
Aging
Transfer the fermented wine into French oak barrels for aging, allowing it to develop complex flavors over a period of 6-12 months.
- 5
Bottling
Once the aging process is complete, filter the wine and bottle it for distribution.
