Burger Patties

Toppings

French Fries

Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Cooking the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Bake for the recommended time until crispy and golden brown, turning halfway through.

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 2

    Forming the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, blackening seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, then divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

  2. 3

    Cooking the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with crumbled blue cheese to melt slightly.

Sauté the Onions

  1. 4

    Sautéing the Onions

In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they become soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Building the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun, top with sautéed onions, and cover with the top half of the bun. Serve with the crispy French fries on the side.
