Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Ribeye

Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper evenly on both sides.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time according to your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

Making the Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips to make fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain and pat the potatoes dry. Fry them in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.

Preparing the House Salad

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

Rinse the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber under cold water. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumber.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber.

  3. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to combine.
