Prepare the Tomato Mixture
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, diced mozzarella cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine and set aside for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush each side lightly with olive oil.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
