Lamb Burger

Masala Fries

Method

Lamb Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lamb Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground American lamb with salt and pepper to taste. Form the mixture into a burger patty approximately 8 oz in size.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patty

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the lamb patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burger

On a serving plate, place the grilled lamb patty. Top it with crumbled feta cheese, diced cucumber, and pickled onions. Drizzle spiced yogurt over the top.

Masala Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips. Soak the potato strips in water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 5

    Seasoning the Fries

In a bowl, mix the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Drain and pat dry the potato strips and toss them in the spice mixture until evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the seasoned potato strips in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 7

    Serve

Serve the masala fries alongside the lamb burger for a delicious meal.
