Method
For the Chicken Wings
- 1
Prep the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are well coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Toss in Hot Sauce
Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
For the Blue Cheese Dressing
- 5
Mix the Dressing
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, lemon juice, and minced garlic until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 6
Chill the Dressing
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
