Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the Roma tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop the Basil
Finely chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Mince the Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the tomato and basil mixture.

Season the Mixture
Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix everything together gently, ensuring the ingredients are well combined.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the Baguette
Slice the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush each slice with olive oil on one side.

Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously onto the oiled side of each toasted bread slice.
