Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice cubes until about 3/4 full to properly chill and dilute the drink as it is poured.

  2. 2

    Measure and pour whiskey

Measure 4 oz (double pour) of Jameson Orange and pour it over the ice in the prepared glass.

  3. 3

    Add orange juice

Measure 6 oz of fresh orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed) and pour it into the glass over the whiskey and ice. Pour gently to combine without excessive agitation.

  4. 4

    Adjust sweetness (optional)

If you prefer a sweeter cocktail, add 1/2 tsp simple syrup and stir gently once to combine. Tasting and adjusting to preference is recommended.

  5. 5

    Garnish and finish

Garnish with an orange wheel on the rim. Optionally grate a small pinch of fresh nutmeg over the top for an aromatic breakfast twist.

  6. 6

Serve immediately with a stirrer or straw so the drink can be mixed as you sip.
