Cocktail Preparation

   Prepare the Glass

   Chill a rocks glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

   Mix the Ingredients

   In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, Averna, Black Magic syrup, and saline solution.

   Shake it Up

   Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

   Strain and Serve

   Discard the ice water from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass over fresh ice.

   Garnish

   Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and drop it in as garnish.
