Method

Meatballs

  1. 1

    Prepare Meatball Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground brisket, ground pork, bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Shape Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned.

Marinara Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.

  2. 5

    Add Tomatoes and Seasoning

Add crushed tomatoes, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the saucepan. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 6

    Combine with Meatballs

Once the meatballs are baked, add them to the marinara sauce and let them simmer together for an additional 10 minutes.

Focaccia

  1. 7

    Prepare Dough

In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.

  2. 8

    Knead and Rise

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  3. 9

    Shape and Bake Focaccia

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Transfer the risen dough to a greased baking sheet and stretch it out. Dimple the surface with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped rosemary. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Stracciatella

  1. 10

    Prepare Stracciatella

In a bowl, mix together shredded mozzarella cheese and heavy cream until well combined. Season with salt to taste.
